Which operating system should you put on your laptop?
If you've ever asked yourself this question, ask no longer. Laptops come with all kinds of operating systems, ranging from Windows to Unix, and have everything in the middle. Most of the lower-end brands of laptops (Acer, Asus, etc.) generally come with Windows, while some of the more "tech friendly" systems have Linux off the shelf. At the same time, if you were to get an Apple computer, that will come with Mac OS, which is just a more user friendly version of Unix. It's a very powerful platform. Some netbooks (such as the EePC) come with the option for Linux installed, which is best if you're interested in coding or other types of technology. For those who like games, a Windows system is probably the best.

Finding laptop accessories
If you're in the market for a laptop, you've probably looked at some accessories that go well with it. Fortunately for you, there are lots of these on the market that go well with your notebook. What's your style? What do you use your laptop for? If you're using your laptop to carry around and look stylish, you might want to consider a laptop skin to personalize your system. If you're using it for gaming, look on sites such as tigerdirect.com for great peripherals you want. Either way, your laptop will look great when you're done. Best of luck!
Dell Laptops
Dell laptops are also great deals these days. You can pick up these on finance plans for almost nothing each month. For example, if you wanted a cheap pre-owned laptop from Dell, you could go through their finance plan and pay as little as $10/month for it. Of course you'll probably pay more in the long run, but it's not like we're buying a car here. If you end up paying an extra $60 over the course of 2-3 years, it's not going to hurt you that much. Naturally though, I recommend buying your laptop with cash to avoid such finance charges.
Your favorite mini laptop: The Netbook
Okay, who among you has one of these little tiny laptops? You know what I'm talking about: The type of laptop that almost looks like a cell phone. It's got a 9 inch screen, has little tiny keys on the keyboard, and almost doesn't look like it's usable as a computer! Well, I'm here to tell you that it is. Laptops of this size have become all the rage, and you can cash in on their popularity. If you go to places like eBay, you can find these computers for extremely cheap. Don't worry about warranties either. Laptops such as these are so cheap that you might as well just throw it away when you're done!

Used Acer Laptops
If you're looking for used laptops, look no further than the Acer laptops that are on the shelf right now. Some of these laptops are so cheap that you can be in and out of the store within 30 minutes with a laptop that doesn't even cost $500! Check out places such as Best Buy, Walmart, and even places online for great selections on some of these laptops. Acer is a great brand because it's almost a disposable laptop. Naturally you don't want to spend lots and lots of money for a laptop that you'll just throw away, so that's why this is so good. Good luck on your search!
